Crawling down the smoke filled staircase (and convincing those coming UP the stairs to avoid smoke to go back down through it all), I managed to get to the lobby of my builiding.

Firemen who were outside came in covered in debris, coughing soot and throwing up. We were told to evacuate as soon as the debris settled.
